A history tour. Walk around mysterious Stonehenge. Salisbury and its impressive cathedral built in the 13th century sit beside a wonderful English chalk stream - the River Avon. And, finally, Winchester, a town that was important in Roman times and was once the Anglo Saxon capital. The cathedral dates back to the 12th century and the town has links with King Alfred and William the Conqueror. This city is an open book of English history.
